Selon les travaux d&#8217;Albert Bandura sur l\u2019auto-efficacit\u00e9*, ces convictions peuvent alt\u00e9rer notre perception de nos propres capacit\u00e9s et inhiber notre potentiel de r\u00e9ussite. En effet, lorsqu\u2019un individu internalise une croyance n\u00e9gative \u00e0 son sujet, il tend \u00e0 adopter des comportements conformes \u00e0 cette perception, cr\u00e9ant ainsi un cercle vicieux de confirmation. D\u2019autres facteurs comme la motivation intrins\u00e8que ou l\u2019environnement social jouent aussi un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans la r\u00e9ussite.<\/p><p>Elles se manifestent sous forme de g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisations comme <em>&#8220;Je ne suis pas fait pour le sport&#8221;<\/em>, <em>&#8220;Je ne suis pas cr\u00e9atif&#8221;<\/em>, ou encore <em>&#8220;Je suis trop vieux pour apprendre&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p><p>Dans nos m\u00e9tiers, elles peuvent freiner la performance et l\u2019innovation. Un manager peut penser <em>&#8220;Je dois tout savoir pour \u00eatre cr\u00e9dible&#8221;<\/em>, <em>&#8220;Si je d\u00e9l\u00e8gue, je perds le contr\u00f4le&#8221;<\/em>, ou encore <em>&#8220;L\u2019\u00e9chec est inacceptable&#8221;<\/em>. En s\u2019int\u00e9ressant aux parcours de ceux qui ont r\u00e9ussi l\u00e0 o\u00f9 nous nous sentons bloqu\u00e9s aide \u00e0 remettre en question nos certitudes. C\u2019est s\u2019offrir l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de transformer nos propres limites en tremplins\u00a0: Comment quelqu\u2019un d\u2019ext\u00e9rieur analyserait-il ma situation ?
